Kolo Toure has highlighted what makes Brendan Rodgers so special as a manager.
The former Ivory Coast international is now one of Rodgers’ assistants at Leicester City after making the move from Celtic last month.
The Northern Irishman moved in controversial circumstances, swapping the chance of a treble treble with his boyhood Hoops for life with the Foxes, who have nothing to play for this season.
And before leaving, Toure spoke about the manager he works under and what makes him so good.
Per telegraph.co.uk, Toure said: “I’m learning from him every day.
“He’s very intelligent, organised, gives amazing detail to the players. He is the one who organises everything. He is the maestro, it’s really good to work with him and see what he does on a daily basis.
“He prepares everything very well and his reading of the game is incredible. He can change the situation in a game so easily. He’s a top manager.”
While Celtic fans no longer worship Rodgers, it can’t be denied that he’s a top manager and should get results with Leicester.
The former Liverpool gaffer won seven domestic trophies on the spin after taking over at Celtic, producing a double treble and an unbeaten domestic season in his first campaign.
At Leicester he has a quality squad and has kicked off his time there with wins over Fulham and Burnley following an opening defeat to Watford.
