Kris Boyd Calls For Action Now After Bottle is Thrown at Scott Sinclair

Kris Boyd has called for action now after Scott Sinclair was the latest target of a object being thrown from fans.

It comes days after a coin was thrown from the Celtic fans at Hearts goalkeeper Zdenek Zlamal.

And it’s a month after Boyd was hit with a coin during Kilmarnock’s defeat to Celtic at Rugby Park.

The Buckfast bottle didn’t hit Sinclair, but referee Willie Collum stopped the game so he could remove the object.

Now Boyd has called for action to be taken now to avoid incidents like this happening going forward.

He took to Instagram to post:

With the recent incidents, it may force the SPFL, SFA and clubs to come together to sort out a serious way of stopping any further incidents.

Celtic beat Hibs 2-0 in tonight’s game at Easter Road to book their place in the Scottish Cup semi-finals at Hampden next month.

James Forrest and Scott Brown got the goals for the holders on a disappointing night for the Hibees.
