Celtic boss Neil Lennon has provided Hoops supporters with a positive injury update on midfielders Callum McGregor & Olivier Ntcham, as well as defender Filip Benkovic.
Lennon has been without the trio since returning as the club’s manager last month, and has been relying on Scott Brown, Nir Bitton and youngster Ewen Henderson in the middle of the park, but it looks like there could be some timely relief.
In fact, Lennon revealed during his weekly press conference this afternoon that McGregor could play a role in his side’s Premiership game at Dundee this Sunday:
Whilst some crucial players are on the brink of a return to the Celtic team, Ryan Christie and Tom Rogic still have a little way to go before they can be called upon.
But with a showdown with bitter rivals Rangers looming on the horizon later this month, we’re sure McGregor, Ntcham and Benkovic will be welcomed back with open arms.
