The Dutch side travelled to Spain for this evening’s Champions League last-16 second-leg, having lost 2-1 in Amsterdam to the defending champions two weeks ago.
Given the mite of Los Blancos, few would have given Ajax a realistic chance of progressing, but they came flying out of the blocks in the opening stages and were 2-0 ahead after just 18 minutes.
The architect of this stunning comeback was none other than Ziyech, with the 25-year-old scoring the opener and generally running the Real defence ragged.
And it seems the Morocco international won plenty of admirers during that first-half, many of whom reckon Jurgen Klopp should make a move for him this summer:
Do you think Ziyech would improve the Liverpool team?
