Manchester United are set to try and improve their atmosphere inside their iconic Old Trafford stadium by introducing a designated area for fans to sing in.
The Red Devils possess one of football’s true cathedrals, with the ‘Theatre of Dreams’ one of the greatest venues in the modern game.
However, a regular match-day inside Old Trafford doesn’t always sound like there’s more than 75,000 fans inside and the club’s hierarchy have held trials over the last two seasons to try and improve the atmosphere.
And it was revealed earlier today that a dedicated section for fans who want to sing throughout matches will soon be introduced, as per the Manchester Evening News.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s arrival and the improvement in the first-team’s style of play recently has certainly amplified the volume somewhat, but is an ‘atmosphere section’ really the answer here?
