Ryan Christie has dropped a hint about a possible return for Celtic – but it’s unlikely to come against Rangers.
The Hoops midfielder hasn’t been seen on the pitch since limping out of his side’s 4-1 win over Motherwell a month ago.
He’s been busy recovering from the hamstring injury he picked up in that game and was forced to miss last week’s Scotland games against Kazakhstan and San Marino.
But it looks like Christie could be in line to return to the Celtic squad soon – although reports say he’s definitely out of Sunday’s match.
He took to Instagram after having a few days off over the international break to drop a hint:
Christie hasn’t returned to training as far as we’re aware so is still a bit away from match fitness.
But if he’s able to play any part in the run-in for Celtic then that will be a massive boost for Neil Lennon’s side.
He’s played 35 times for Celtic so far this season, scoring 10 goals and assisting six.
