Celtic went 10 points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership today after Odsonne Edouard‘s dramatic winner against Dundee deep into stoppage time.
Even the most ardent of Hoops fans would be unable to deny just how poor their side’s display was at Dens Park, with Neil Lennon’s side putting in a turgid and underwhelming performance against their relegation-threatened opponents, who more than deserved a point.
The match looked destined for a drab 0-0 draw, however, Edouard popped up in the 96th minute to coolly slot home James Forrest’s excellent cut-back:
The goal sparked wild celebrations amongst the Celtic supporters, and the touchline as Lennon sprinted towards the away end, but how do you rate their overall showing?
Does Edouard’s goal perhaps paper over the cracks somewhat, and does this afternoon’s game perhaps hurt Lennon’s bid to become Celtic’s permanent manager at the end of the current campaign?
