Jesse Lingard visited his old primary school recently – making the day of many kids there.
The Manchester United man has struggled with injury recently, leading him to miss some of their most important games, including the weekend’s defeat to Arsenal and last midweek’s win away at Paris Saint-Germain.
So he has some time on his hands away from training and games.
And teamed up with the club recently to visit the school where it all started for him.
Lingard surprised the schoolkids one day and got involved as they were given some coaching by the MU Foundation.
You can see how much it meant to him and everyone else involved:
Lingard is a very popular player, particularly with the younger generation of United fans.
And it’ll be good to see him back on the pitch enjoying himself under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Lingard has scored five goals and made two assists in 26 games for United this season and will be hoping to add to that once he is over his injury issues.
