Video: Man City’s Leroy Sane Victim of Horrendous Tackle in Germany Draw

Manchester City fans watched on in horror last night as one of their key players, Leroy Sane, was the victim of a pretty shocking tackle whilst on international duty.

The pacey winger has been an influential player for the Sky Blues this season as Pep Guardiola’s side aim to complete an historic quadruple of FA Cup, League Cup, Champions League and Premier League.

However, Sane’s campaign was almost completely over whilst wearing the white shirt of Germany in last night’s friendly with Serbia.

The 23-year-old had to be taken off injured in the second-half of the 1-1 draw after Milan Pavlov went careering into him in pretty dangerous fashion, which left the referee no choice but to send him off:

Thankfully, it has since been reported that Germany boss Joachim Löw has confirmed Sane is OK, but is that the worst-ever challenge you’ve witnessed in a friendly match?

We certainly can’t think of any worse!
