Manchester City midfielder Oleksandr Zinchenko has proved himself to be one of the nicest men in football today after taking time out to extend a heart-warming gesture to a young disable fan.
The playmaker-turned-defender is currently on international duty in his homeland of Ukraine ahead of their vital Euro 2020 qualifiers against Portugal and Luxembourg, but whilst his team’s undoubtedly meticulous preparations rumbled on in the background, Zinchenko found time for a really classy gesture.
After training inside the vast Olympiyskiy Stadium in Kiev, Zinchenko met disabled supporter Ali Amir, and was more than happy to indulge the youngster in a game of keepy-uppies:
As he showed on his Instagram earlier, Ali also got to meet several other squad members and even got to have a kick-about with Ukraine’s greatest ever player, ex-Chelsea and AC Milan striker Andriy Shevchenko.
What a nice little clip, eh?
We certainly hope Ali enjoyed his impromptu game as much as we did watching it.
