Video: Neil Lennon Admits He Wants to Change Celtic’s ‘Slow and Pedestrian’ Play

Celtic boss Neil Lennon has admitted he doesn’t enjoy the way his side plays at times, and will attempt to get rid of their ‘slow and pedestrian’ build-up play.

The Northern Irishman celebrated wildly on the Dens Park touchline this afternoon after watching the Hoops snatch a 1-0 win over Dundee thanks to a 96th minute goal from Frenchman Odsonne Edouard, but, afterwards, he was happy to admit he wasn’t totally content.

They might’ve gone back to Glasgow with all three points but the world’s biggest Celtic fan would’ve struggled to defend the turgid performance, with Edouard’s goal narrowly avoiding a second consecutive 0-0 draw for the Premiership champions.

When speaking to Sky Sports after the final whistle, Lennon admitted he has plans to alter the style developed under previous manager Brendan Rodgers:

What do you think of Celtic’s overall display, and Lennon’s comments afterwards?
