Romelu Lukaku breathed new life into Manchester United’s Champions League campaign tonight by scoring a well-taken goal against PSG.
The Red Devils travelled to Paris having lost the first-leg of their last-16 tie with the French champions two weeks ago, and the chances of a comeback looked very slim indeed given United are missing a whopping 10 first-team players.
However, after just two minutes, Lukaku continued his excellent recent form by coolly rounding Gigi Buffon before slotting the ball into the net:
Whilst Lukaku reduced the deficit, it wasn’t too long before Paris found their feet, and full-back Juan Bernat pounced on a pinpoint cross from Mbappe to level things on the night.
He has been a much maligned figure during his time at Old Trafford, but is Romelu Lukaku finally starting to prove his worth at the elite level?
And what do United need to compete properly with teams like PSG?
What do you think?
