Video: Ryan Kent Escapes Punishment After Lashing Out at Scott Brown

Rangers midfielder Ryan Kent managed to escape punishment after appearing to lash out at Celtic captain Scott Brown this afternoon.

Kent – who is on-loan from Liverpool for the season – has been one of Rangers’ most impressive players this season and today was no different as the winger conjured up a slice of magic for his side’s only goal in a 2-1 defeat.

However, in the wake of James Forrest’s winner for the Hoops, Kent was caught on camera having a set-to with Brown, and it seems the 22-year-old might have been lucky not to have been sent-off like his fellow team-mate Alfredo Morelos:

Not only was Kent spared a red card by referee Bobby Madden, but he wasn’t even shown a yellow for his petulance.

Morelos, on the other hand, looks likely to receive a four-game domestic ban after receiving his fifth red card of the campaign.

But was Kent lucky not to be joining him for an early bath?
