Video: Scottish Boxer Jordy McCorry Calls Brendan Rodgers a Snake at Press Conference Ahead of Leicester Fight

Scottish boxer Jordy McCorry called Brendan Rodgers a snake at a press conference in Leicester ahead of his fight in the city this weekend.

McCorry is a super featherweight boxer who will fight Samuel Bowen for the title at Leicester Arena on Saturday night.

And yesterday they faced the media ahead of the event, with McCorry – who is a Celtic fan – questioned about his club’s old manager controversially leaving for the English Premier League outfit last month.

Rodgers swapped Celtic for Leicester despite having a long-term contract at his boyhood club and the opportunity to win a treble treble this season.

That led to a strong reaction from the Hoops support – and McCorry’s feelings obviously haven’t calmed over time.

Just listen to what he had to say at the press conference:

McCorry’s opponent is a Leicester fan and turned up to the press conference in a Foxes jersey.

The Scottish fighter will have to keep calm if that’s an effort to get a reaction by his opponent.
