Video: Solskjaer Promises Summer Signings & Expects to Win Premier League Title

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has given his first press conference as the permanent Manchester United manager – and insisted that he expects to win the Premier League title.

The Norwegian coach has been handed a three-year deal by the United hierarchy after impressing in his 12-week stint as interim boss, and will now look to transform the Red Devils back into genuine contenders, both domestically as well as in Europe.

Ahead of this weekend’s fixture against Watford at Old Trafford, Solskjaer met with the press for his weekly media conference and was obviously overjoyed with securing the manager’s role on a permanent basis.

As well as outlining the high expectations that will be required under his leadership, Solskjaer also revealed there will be significant summer transfer dealings in the close-season, whilst also revealing he’s already had a chat with Sir Alex Ferguson:
