Steven Gerrard scored a brilliant winner in Liverpool legends’ 3-2 win over AC Milan this afternoon.

The Rangers manager was back at Anfield to take part in the game for the LFC Foundation.

They regularly play these high profile games at Anfield, where a host of former greats go up against greats from another club.

And today’s was always going to be a must-see considering the famous meetings between the teams in the past.

Gerrard has a big goal to his name in a Champions League Final against AC Milan, but would have been disappointed losing a final to the same team two years after that famous night in Istanbul.

But the Rangers manager has settled the trilogy this afternoon, helping Liverpool win 3-2:

How good is that?

The Gers boss is only retired in 2016 so was definitely one of the fittest among the players on show at Anfield.

But he was still up against some AC Milan greats, like Andrea Pirlo, Paolo Maldini, Gennaro Gattuso and Filippo Inzaghi.

Rangers and Liverpool fans should definitely enjoy that Gerrard winner.
