Aberdeen Captain Graeme Shinnie Spotted at Derby’s Pride Park

Aberdeen captain Graeme Shinnie appears to be close to securing a move away from the club after being spotted taking a tour of Derby County’s stadium.

The Scotland international is out of contract in the summer, and has previously been linked with moves to both Rangers and Wigan Athletic, but now it seems Frank Lampard’s side have jumped the queue.

Images have been doing the rounds on social media this afternoon apparently showing the 27-year-old taking a tour of Pride Park, home to the promotion-chasing Rams.

But whilst a move to Derby is by no means secure, it seems as though Shinnie’s departure from Pittodrie will soon be announced, and the English Championship seems to be his likely departure:

Given Shinnie has been a key Aberdeen player for several seasons now, let alone the Dons’ skipper, how does Derek McInnes go about replacing such an influential player?

What do you think?
