Celtic Fans Pretty Angry with Club’s Ticket Giveaway for Potential Title Decider

Plenty of Celtic supporters are far from happy after the club announced a ticket giveaway for the potential title-clinching match against Kilmarnock.

Assuming results go to form, the Hoops can seal their eighth consecutive Premiership triumph on April 27 at home to the Ayrshire side by claiming all three points and, as you’d expect, the fixture is likely to be close to a sell-out.

However, the Celtic marketing department started running a competition earlier today offering ticket-less supporters the chance to win themselves some briefs – by signing-up to an online slot machine.

In order to be in with a shout of winning tickets – as well as other prizes, such as retro jerseys – fans are asked to sign up to the club’s new official betting partner Mr.Green and deposit a minimum of £20.

Needless to say, the scheme hasn’t exactly gone down too well with regular punters on social media:

What do you think of the idea? Is this competition in-keeping with Celtic’s core ethos?
