Craig Levein Appears to Have Angry Reaction to John Souttar to Rangers Question

Craig Levein appeared to have an angry reaction to a question about Rangers‘ reported interest in John Souttar.

The Hearts manager was speaking to the media this morning ahead of his side’s Scottish Premiership clash with Rangers on Saturday.

There have been reports this week that Steven Gerrard is interested in signing the Jambos defender this summer.

And today was the first opportunity for Levein to be questioned about the speculation.

But he didn’t seem in the mood for it, per PA’s Andy Newport:

Video has now emerged of Levein speaking:

Souttar was one of the Hearts heroes as they beat Inverness 3-0 in the Scottish Cup semi-final at the weekend.

He got on the scoresheet and turned in another impressive display to add to a season of quality performances.

Given Souttar is a regular at the heart of the Jambos defence and now a full Scotland cap, it’s no surprise he’s being linked with a move away.

But will Rangers move for him? And will Souttar be interested?
