FootyHeadlines Deny Leaked Celtic Kit Featuring 5 Stars is ‘Real Deal’

Celtic fans thought they got a glimpse of their 2019/20 home kit yesterday – as did we.

We reported on images that had been leaked on social media appearing to show what the Hoops would be wearing next season.

The strip was fairly simple, but featured one very interesting thing – five stars above the badge.

That would be to signify Celtic winning their 50th league title this season, joining numerous other clubs around the world who have done the same thing.

But fans who weren’t happy with that feature can now rest easy after footyheadlines.com confirmed that the leak doesn’t belong to them – and that the ‘leaked’ strip isn’t real.

Confirming via their website, FootyHeadlines said:

“The ‘leaked’ Celtic 19-20 home kit has been mocked up by a prankster who added a Footy Headlines watermark to add credibility and fool people. However, we can confirm that this is not our picture, and that is 100% a fake.”

If you aren’t aware of FootyHeadlines, they are renowned for getting exclusive images of new kit releases from teams around the world and are normally very reliable on the images they publish.

So their denial of this should be trusted and fans can expect better to come from the club at some point over the next few months.
