Neil Lennon Confirms Karamoko Dembele Could Play for First-Team This Season

Celtic‘s interim boss Neil Lennon has confirmed exciting teenager Karamoko Dembele could well play for the Hoops’ first-team before the end of the season.

The 16-year-old play-maker has been earmarked as a potential superstar for some time now having been on the radar of every top scout in Europe ever since he was called into the Celtic Under-20 squad at the tender age of just 13.

Dembele penned his first-ever pro deal at Parkhead after his birthday in February and now he could get a taste of first-team action in the famous green and white jersey before the end of the current campaign, as Lennon revealed during his pre-match press conference today:

Dembele has gone on to represent both the English and Scottish national sides at youth level as he weighed up his international options, but looks set to represent England permanently, the country of his birth.

What do you think of the news, and would you throw Dembele in once the league title is sealed?
