Liverpool’s New 2019/20 Home Strip Set to Feature Pinstripe Design

Images of Liverpool‘s new home kit for next season have been leaked online, and it looks like Jurgen Klopp‘s side will be turning out in a pinstripe design from the summer onward.

The Reds hierarchy are actually currently in negotiations over a new long-term kit deal, with current manufacturers New Balance set to step aside at the end of the 2019/20 season.

New Balance have been in charge of designing Liverpool’s strips since 2014, but as we told you last week, Nike are now in talks with the club’s American owners over a deal which would eclipse the £75 million-per-season contract Manchester United signed with Adidas in 2015.

But in the meantime, New Balance are obliged to take care of the Liverpool kits for one more season, and the ultra-reliable Footy Headlines is reporting that a pinstripe motif will be employed next season:

Moreover, it seems a much brighter shade of red will be used next season, along with a golden trim.

What do you think of the images?
