Plenty of Man Utd Fans Are Calling for Sergio Romero to Start Final Two Games

Manchester United fans are calling for back-up goalkeeper Sergio Romero to start the final two Premier League games of the campaign.

Current No.1 goalie David de Gea has unquestionably been the Red Devils’ best player for the last two or three seasons but his form of late has absolutely plummeted, and his error for Chelsea’s goal in today’s 1-1 draw at Old Trafford looks like it’s cost United a place in next season’s Champions League.

Today’s mistake along with recent errors against Man City and Barcelona has seen pressure mount on de Gea, who is currently reportedly paying hardball over a new contract with the club.

And with Romero – a goalkeeper who has 96 caps for Argentina and has played in a World Cup Final – sitting on the bench, many feel it’s time for a change between the sticks:

Do you think de Gea should be removed from the starting line-up for the final two Premier League games of the season?
