The Red Devils welcome Barca to Old Trafford tomorrow night hoping to get a big result to take over to Spain next week.
It’s going to be a very big ask considering the quality of Barcelona’s team and the inconsistent recent form of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side.
But United have shown this season that they can beat anybody – highlighted with their incredible comeback victory over PSG in the last-16.
If United are to beat Barca tomorrow then they’ll have to do it without Spanish midfielder Herrera as he’s reportedly been ruled out through injury.
He was among four first team stars who didn’t train this morning ahead of the game and it’s being reported by Mundo Deportivo that he’ll be absent when the teams are announced tomorrow:
That is a big setback for United as Herrera had only recovered from injury over recent weeks to get back involved for Solskjaer’s men.
Now it will be up to the likes of Fred and Scott McTominay to replace the Spaniard and help United to what would be a huge result if they could knock out Barca.
