Rangers Fan Gets Harsh Reply From Umar Sadiq After Aberdeen Dive Question

A Rangers fan got a very harsh reply from Umar Sadiq after asking the striker about his dive against Aberdeen in the Betfred Cup semi-final.

The Nigerian frontman spent the first half of the season at Ibrox on loan from Roma.

But he did virtually nothing, appearing just four times for Steven Gerrard’s men before being sent back to Italy.

We say he did virtually nothing, but we write that in a positive sense.

Negatively, he did plenty – hardly ever appearing and wearing some questionable clothing.

But the most memorable moment from Sadiq’s time at Rangers was the Betfed Cup semi-final against Aberdeen when he dived in the box despite having a clear opportunity to score.

He was booked instead and Rangers went on to lose the game 1-0.

And one supporter hasn’t forgotten about that:

Bit harsh, Umar.

Sadiq is now plays for Perugia in Serie B and has done a bit better, scoring three goals in 12 games to help them push for a promotion play-off place.
