There’s Plenty of Depressed Man Utd Fans Watching Daley Blind Excel for Ajax

Daley Blind helped orchestrate Ajax‘s latest win in the Champions League over Spurs – and there’s plenty of Manchester United supporters who are pretty depressed watching his impressive performances.

The experienced Dutch international has formed a formidable partnership at the heart of the Eredivise side’s defence with the exciting teenager Matthijs de Ligt, and Tuesday night’s 1-0 victory away to Spurs means Ajax now have one foot in the Champions League Final.

Amazingly, Blind was shown the door at Old Trafford during the Jose Mourinho reign, with the likes of Phil Jones, Chris Smalling and Marcos Rojo all kept on the books ahead of him, with Ajax agreeing a
€16 million transfer for the 29-year-old.

Nobody’s saying he was an absolute world-beater whilst a United player, but plenty of Red Devils fans are clearly frustrated that such a composed and classy player was allowed to leave so easily:

So, is this all convenient revisionism, or should United have kept Blind in the Premier League?
