Video: Gary Neville Almost Looks Emotional As He Hammers Manchester United Players

Gary Neville almost looked emotional as he hammered Manchester United‘s players this afternoon.

The former Red Devils full-back watched on as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men lost 4-0 against Everton at Goodison Park earlier.

It was an embarrassing performance and result from United as they were second best all afternoon against an Everton side in brilliant form.

And Neville didn’t miss them with his post-match assessment.

According to Neville, the blame lies solely with the players and there’s absolutely no doubt now that Solskjaer will ship more than a few out in the summer.

Considering today’s defeat was a hammer blow to United’s Champions League qualification hopes, you can understand Neville’s frustration:

United fans will understand Neville too as they’ve had to watch too many under par performances this season – both under Jose Mourinho and Solskjaer.

There has been a revival under the Norwegian since he replaced the Portuguese boss, but it’s looking too little too late in their pursuit of a top four place.

United bowed out of the Champions League at the hands of Barcelona in midweek so their only remaining opportunity to be in next season’s competition lies in their league finish.
