Video: Plenty of Man Utd Fans Turning on David De Gea After Man City Mistakes

David de Gea is receiving serious criticism from Manchester United fans for the first time during his time in English football after two pretty disappointing goals conceded against Man City tonight.

The Red Devils went into tonight’s derby clash knowing they owed their supporters a serious amount of payback following Sunday’s embarrassing 4-0 defeat away at Everton.

However, just beyond the hour mark, both Bernardo Silva and Leroy Sane had managed to find the back of the net – and de Gea was at the scene of the crime for both goals.

The first was slightly questionable, with Silva’s clever shot deceiving the Spaniard at his near post, but the second was unquestionably an error, with Sane wheeling away in celebration after de Gea somehow left his effort slip past him.

Despite being United’s best player for several seasons now, de Gea seems to be taking A LOT of stick from the club’s supporters on social media tonight:

With de Gea reportedly playing hardball with the United hierarchy over a new contract, are we seeing the club’s supporters starting to turn on the ex-Ateltico Madrid goalie?

What do you think?
