Video: Glenn Middleton Shows Off Two Goals From Old Firm Reserve Game

Rangers winger Glenn Middleton has been showing off his two goals from the Old Firm reserve match earlier this week.

The 19-year-old has established himself as a first-team regular under Gers boss Steven Gerrard this season, showing his impressive level of talent in the Premiership, as well as against the likes of Villarreal and Rapid Vienna in the Europa League.

However, Middleton was thrown into Monday’s reserve fixture against the Ibrox club’s bitter rivals Celtic at Firhill – and he certainly didn’t disappoint.

The Scotland Under-21 international was a stand-out as he scored twice in a 2-0 victory for Graeme Murty’s men:

Murty has now guided Rangers to the top of the reserve league and two more wins could seal the title.

But what do you think of Middleton’s double? Is it time he’s recalled to the Rangers first-team? Surely he’s earned more than a few other players currently occupying the Gers’ senior squad?
