And Neil Lennon is expected to make some big changes for the visit of the Jambos to Celtic Park on trophy day.
A week later, Celtic will play Hearts again in the Scottish Cup Final at Hampden.
So it makes sense for both teams to be very different to the ones that will line up at the national stadium for the season show piece.
Lennon spoke yesterday about making some changes to his team and how fans might see Karamoko Dembele make his first team debut.
But what else might happen on Sunday? Here we pick out four significant things from Celtic training today ahead of the game:
1 – Karamoko Dembele is in the Mix
Dembele trained with the Celtic first team today and you’d assume he’s 100% in the mix to play based off Lennon’s comments. His presence in first team training was even picked out by the club’s social media team this afternoon too.
2 – Armstrong Oko-Flex and Ewan Henderson Are in Contention to Play Toohttp://gty.im/1124553612
Oko-Flex and Henderson have been superb for the club’s reserve team, with the latter even playing a few times for the first team already this season. It would be Oko-Flex’s debut and that is sure to excite Celtic supporters.
3 – No Scott BrownEmbed from Getty Images
Brown was missing from training and is most likely due to get some rest this week before returning to training ahead of the Cup Final. That shouldn’t come as a surprise given his age, the amount of games he’s played this season and how important it is for him to be fresh in the final.
4 – Maryan Shved is Right into Training
Shved only arrived in Scotland this week, but he’s already straight into training. Unfortunately for Hoops fans, they won’t get to see him play until next season so it’s only training for now. But there’s no doubt Shved is in line to play his part right away next term.
