Neil Lennon’s Appointment as Permanent Celtic Boss Gets a Very Mixed Reaction From Supporters Online

Neil Lennon has been offered the chance to become Celtic‘s permanent manager for the second time in his career – but the news has received a very mixed reaction from the club’s supporters.

Lennon has been in charge of the Hoops on an interim basis ever since Brendan Rodgers departed for Leicester City back in February, and has since managed to guide the Glasgow club to two pretty historic trophies in the space of three months.

First he managed to seal the Premiership title – Celtic’s eighth in a row – and earlier today he oversaw a 2-1 victory in the Scottish Cup Final against Hearts, meaning Celtic have now managed to win an incredible three consecutive domestic trebles.

But some glamorous names had been linked with taking over at Parkhead, including the likes of Rafa Benitez and Jose Mourinho, and it seems Lennon’s appointment has divided the Celtic fan-base somewhat.

Plenty of punters are willing to get behind him, but there’s also a sizeable amount who simply don’t think Lennon is the right man for the job:

What do you think of the decision, and the reaction to Lennon’s appointment?
