Celtic Fans Simply Refuse to Believe Rumours of Big-Money Deal for Porto’s Moussa Marega

Rumours have been circulating online claiming Celtic are on the brink of signing Porto striker Moussa Marega for a deal worth in the region of
€25 million – but the club’s supporters are simply refusing to believe it.

It seems the hearsay was started by a fan of the Portuguese club, who posted a picture of Marega’s name on the back of Celtic’s iconic green and white jersey, complete with the No.11 on its back.

Hoops midfielder Olivier Ntcham has been linked with Porto in the past, and it’s been mentioned that he could be used as something of a makeweight in any deal.

Moreover, Marega’s Wikipedia page has already been altered to claim he is now a Celtic player, but spending a relatively mammoth fee on a 28-year-old isn’t something that just is ringing true with the Parkhead side’s faithful:

Marega has previously been linked with the likes of West Ham, Everton and Wolves, and scored 17 goals for Porto this season.

So is there any conceivable way Celtic could really be about to pull off a deal like this?

What do you think?
