Jake Hastie Takes Dog’s Abuse From Motherwell Fans During St Johnstone Defeat

Motherwell‘s outgoing winger Jake Hastie took a power of abuse from the Lanarkshire club’s supporters during today’s 2-0 defeat to St. Johnstone at McDiarmid Park.

The Well faced off against the Saints in their penultimate game of the Premiership season, and were easily seen off thanks to goals either side of half-time from Scott Tanser and Murray Davidson.

However, the stick Hastie took from his own fans was perhaps the most standout highlight from the clash, with the Rangers-bound forward subjected to several moments of vitriol throughout the 90 minutes.

After breaking into the Motherwell first-team in the New Year, Hastie decided against extending his stay at Fir Park beyond the summer and instead signed a pre-contract to move to Ibrox – and it seems Well supporters aren’t best pleased at all:

The Sun reports that the 20-year-old was repeatedly subjected tochants of ‘Jake Hastie, you’re a wanker, you’re a wanker’, before and after he came on as a sub in the 72nd minute.

What do you think of the chants and the abuse aimed at Hastie?
