It Sounds Like Kieran Tierney Will Start v Rangers.. But Should He?

It sounds like Kieran Tierney will start against Rangers at Ibrox on Sunday – but should he?

Neil Lennon spoke to the media this morning ahead of Celtic’s visit to Govan for the second time this season.

The last time the Hoops were there they lost 1-0, with Ryan Jack scoring the only goal of the game.

And Tierney was a notable absence on that day, missing out through injury.

Despite more time out between now and then, Tierney has recovered to play in recent games – appearing for just under an hour in the 3-0 win over Aberdeen last weekend.

And Lennon’s comments today effectively confirm that:

But should Tierney be risked in the game against Rangers when there’s a Cup Final against Hearts just weeks away?

Should he even be risked at all this season considering he has an operation ahead of him in the summer?
