Sunderland manager Jack Ross is taking plenty of criticism from the club’s supporters this evening after missing out on promotion to the English Championship.
The Black Cats went into today’s League One Playoff Final against Charlton at Wembley as slight favourites, and looked on course for victory after taking the lead just a few minutes into the match.
But Lee Bowyer’s Charlton came roaring back to win 2-1, with their crucial second goal coming in the 95th minute.
The dramatic nature of Charlton’s winner understandably broke the hearts of the Sunderland fans at the game, and those watching at home, and it seems there’s plenty of supporters who’d be keen on seeing Jack Ross relieved of his duties after just one season in charge:
Sunderland probably have one of, if not the biggest budget in all of League One, so are fans right to be so annoyed at missing out on promotion?
What do you think?
