Jake Hastie has been completely bombed out of the Motherwell team just days after signing for Rangers.
The youngster this week put pen to paper on a pre-contract agreement which will see him join the Ibrox club in the summer.
He’s long now been linked with a move to Steven Gerrard’s side, with the Rangers manager even publicly speaking about it before the deal was made official during the week.
And Motherwell no doubt gave up hope on signing him a while ago, but up until today he’d still been playing for them.
Well, Stephen Robinson’s men face St Mirren at Fir Park today and there’s no sign of Hastie in their starting XI or substitutes:
Is that a bit harsh on Hastie?
Hastie has enjoyed a meteoric rise this season, returning from Alloa after his spell on loan there in the first half of the campaign to inspire Motherwell to a much-improved last four months.
