Karamoko Dembele Could Make Senior Celtic Debut Against Hearts on Sunday

Karamoko Dembele could be set to make his long-awaited senior Celtic debut on Sunday against Hearts after the exciting teenager was withdrawn from the England Under-17 squad.

The 16-year-old play-maker has been earmarked as a potential superstar for some time now, having been on the radar of every top scout in Europe ever since he was called into the Celtic Under-20 squad at the tender age of just 13.

Dembele penned his first-ever pro deal at Parkhead after his birthday in February and now he could get a taste of first-team action in the famous green and white jersey in this weekend’s final Premiership fixture of the campaign at Celtic Park.

With the Scottish Cup Final looming on the horizon later this month, interim Hoops boss Neil Lennon will probably be keen to wrap some of his attacking talent in cotton wool this weekend, and according to the Sun, he asked Dembele to miss the junior Three Lions European Championships in Ireland in order to train with the first-team.

Do you think this weekend is the right time to hand Dembele his first taste of being a senior Celtic player?
