Patrick Roberts Set to Join Norwich City on Season-Long Loan Deal

Patrick Roberts is set to break the hearts of Celtic fans by joining Norwich City on a season-long loan deal.

The winger has spent the 2018/19 season on-loan at Spanish side Girona, but failed to make any tangible impact as they were relegated from La Liga.

Many Hoops supporters had hoped Roberts would return to Glasgow and ‘come home’ under Neil Lennon next season, but the Sun are reporting that Canaries boss Daniel Farke has moved to seal a quick deal for the England Under-20 international.

Now 22, Roberts has just one year left on his current contract at parent club Man City but it seems he’ll spend it on-loan at the Carrow Road side.

What do you think of Roberts’ decision to try his hand in the Premier League for the first time next season, rather than a return to Celtic Park?

Is it the right move?
