Rangers Fans React to Suggestion of Giving Celtic a Guard of Honour at Ibrox if They Win League

Rangers fans aren’t having any of the suggestion their players may need to give Celtic a guard of honour at Ibrox if the league is wrapped up this weekend.

The Hoops are at Pittodrie on Saturday for the early kick-off against Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership.

And they know that even a point will be enough to secure their eighth title in a row.

As fate would have it, Celtic’s first game after potentially wrapping up the title would be away at Rangers.

And as is normally custom, the opposing team would give the newly-crowned champions a guard of honour.

But Rangers fans aren’t having any of that – and have been saying as much on social media:

You get the picture.

As far as we’re aware, this has never happened before and it looks very unlikely that it would now – even if Celtic manage to wrap up the title this weekend.

Rangers play Hibs at Ibrox on Sunday, but that result won’t matter at the top of the table if Celtic manage to avoid defeat in Aberdeen.
