Rangers Winger Ryan Kent Says He Prefers Living in Glasgow Over Liverpool

Ryan Kent has handed Rangers fans further hope that he could return to Ibrox next season after admitting he prefers living in Glasgow over Liverpool.

The attacking midfielder has spent the campaign on-loan from Liverpool and has cemented himself as the Gers’ star player, leading to speculation he’ll be targeted by clubs in England this summer.

However, Kent has previously said publicly that returning to play for Steven Gerrard’s team for the 2019/20 season is a ‘possibility’, and now he’s revealed just how much he enjoys living in Glasgow.

Asked during an interview on Rangers TV, via Inside Futbol, whether Glasgow or Liverpool is nicer, and why, Kent replied: “Glasgow. I don’t really know why. Just Glasgow.”

Fulham have been mentioned in various tabloid reports as potential suitors for Kent but if he enjoys living in Scotland, particularly Glasgow, then surely that would sway him towards staying with Rangers?

And how big a boost would it be for Gerrard and the club as a whole to have Kent for at least another year?

What do you think?
