Jose Mourinho has an offer to become the next manager of Celtic – according to reports coming from a respected Italian journalist this afternoon.
The self-proclaimed Special One is currently out of work and weighing-up his options after being sacked by Manchester United in December, and has been linked with the likes of Real Madrid, Roma and Lyon.
However, Sky Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio reports in his latest personal blog that the Scottish champions have made an official offer to try and tempt Mourinho to Glasgow, as they continue to search for a long-term replacement for Brendan Rodgers.
Celtic won their eighth consecutive Premiership title by defeating Aberdeen 3-0 at Pittodrie yesterday, and are tantalisingly close to securing an historic ten league titles in a row.
Could Jose be the man to guide them to it, as well as helping them reach the next level in Europe?
