Scottish Football Writers Player of the Year Nominees Revealed

The Scottish Football Writers Association Player of the Year nominees have been revealed.

It was the PFA Scotland awards ceremony on Sunday, where James Forrest beat Callum McGregor, Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos to the award.

The writers award comes next, with the ceremony being held on May 19th.

And now we know who the nominees are for it – with Forrest, McGregor and Morelos being joined by Allan McGregor:

Kent misses out on that list compared to the PFA awards – and it’s the same with the Young Player of the Year nominees list too:

Kent actually won the PFA Scotland Young Player of the Year award last weekend, but he’s not even nominated here.

Instead, Kilmarnock’s Greg Taylor takes his place, earning a spot after excelling for Steve Clarke’s overachieving side this season.

Who should take the awards in your opinion?
