The 21-year-old French striker was present to unveil the Premiership champions’ new home jersey inside the club’s Argyle Street store in the heart of Glasgow’s city centre.
And when he was asked by the club’s head of media Gerry McCulloch about his hopes of banging in more goals in the iconic green and white strip, his valiant attempts to articulate himself properly in a foreign language seemed to endear him to the crowd, as well as McCulloch and his fellow team-mates:
Of course, every single person laughing in that room probably wouldn’t be able to muster up a single coherent sentence in a foreign language, but it was perhaps more the way the Frenchman delivered his reply that got the laugh.
