Celtic-bound Maryan Shved has been heavily praised by his current club, Karpaty Lviv, as the winger prepares to say his goodbye to the Ukrainian side.

The 21-year-old attacker has been earmarked as one of the most exciting prospects in his homeland for several seasons now, and agreed a £2 million move to the Scottish Champions during the January transfer window, only to stay on-loan at Lviv until the end of the current campaign.

With the Ukrainian season coming to a close, Shved is preparing for the next chapter in his career with the Hoops, but it seems he’ll head to Glasgow with the well wishes of his former employers.

Shved scored 15 goals this season, including several screamers, and if he can recreate any of these next season then he’ll be pretty popular amongst the Celtic faithful:

What do you think of Shved’s goals for Lviv, and his chances of making a serious impact at Celtic next season?
