Max Lowe said he’s ‘not f***ing leaving’ Aberdeen just hours before reports emerged that Rangers want to sign the left-back.

Lowe has been on loan at Pittodrie from Derby County this season, first joining in the summer until January and then returning later that month until the end of the campaign.

It’s certain that Lowe will return to Derby this summer and may be part of Frank Lampard’s plans.

But it’s also a possibility that the 22-year-old left-back will leave Derby for good in the summer – and a return to Aberdeen could interest him and the club.

Another potential landing spot is Rangers, with reports today saying that the Ibrox club are interested in Lowe.

What does Lowe make of all this though? He had a laugh with a fan at the club’s Player of the Year awards last night about it:

Of course, Lowe will leave, but the hope from many Aberdeen fans is that he returns in the summer.

Unfortunately for them, it doesn’t sound as easy as that.
