Video: Moussa Dembele Says Returning to Visit Celtic Park is Like ‘Coming Back Home’

Moussa Dembele returned to Celtic Park this afternoon to visit his former team-mates, and he insisted returning to Glasgow felt ‘like coming back home’.

The French striker wrote himself into Celtic folklore by playing a crucial part in the club’s ‘Invincible’ treble campaign two seasons ago, as well as last season’s ‘double treble’ campaign, but he departed the Hoops in slightly controversial circumstances last September.

Dembele asked to sign for Lyon amidst rumours of a fall-out with Brendan Rodgers, and he eventually joined the Ligue 1 club on transfer deadline day for around £20 million.

However, the 22-year-old showed he still holds Celtic in great affection today, as he returned to his old stomping ground to see his former colleagues collecting their eighth consecutive Premiership trophy.

He did, however, stop short of commenting on tabloid reports linking him to Manchester United:

Dembele obviously still cares about Celtic, so do you think he could return to the club one day later in his career?
