Video: Neil Lennon Coy On His Own Future After Celtic Lift Premiership Trophy

Neil Lennon has remained tight-lipped over his own future after Celtic lifted their eighth consecutive Premiership trophy earlier today.

The Hoops had already sealed the title two weeks ago with their 3-0 win away at Aberdeen, but this afternoon’s final home match of the season against Hearts saw the Scottish Champions handed their trophy in front of their jubilant supporters.

Teenage winger Mikey Johnston scored twice to secure a 2-1 win over the Jambos and put the icing on the cake for Celtic but after the final whistle, speaking to Sky Sports, Lennon stopped short of saying when we should know his fate, insisting his future ‘is not important’:

Lennon will lead Celtic out for next weekend’s Scottish Cup Final against, coincidentally, Hearts next weekend, but do you think he’ll be in charge of the Glasgow giants next season?
