There’s A Lot of Angry Charlton Fans as Joe Aribo Closes in on Rangers Move

Joe Aribo is reportedly on the verge of signing for Rangers – leaving a lot of unhappy fans behind at his current club Charlton.

Aribo played a crucial part in helping the Addicks win promotion to The Championship last season, with his impressive performance in the League One playoff final against Sunderland especially eye-catching.

The 22-year-old midfielder was considered one of the most outstanding young players in League One throughout the 2018/19 campaign but, according to STV, Charlton will be losing their star man to Steven Gerrard’s Gers.

Rangers will sign Aribo for a minimal development fee, and it seems his decision to trade England’s second-tier for the Scottish Premiership really hasn’t gone down well with the Charlton faithful:

Do you think Aribo has made the right choice in choosing Rangers over staying in English football?
