Chile Coach Gives Manchester United Fans a Positive Alexis Sanchez Update

Manchester United fans have got a positive Alexis Sanchez update from Reinaldo Rueda.

The Chile manager was delighted after leading his side to a 4-0 victory over Japan in the Copa America last night.

It was Chile’s opening game of the tournament and sets them up for their remaining group matches against Ecuador and Uruguay.

If they are to succeed and win, they’ll have to get the best out of Sanchez, who goes into the tournament off the back of a disappointing campaign with Manchester United.

But Rueda started Sanchez in last night’s game and was repaid with a goal and two assists from the United winger.

The Chile boss believes Sanchez is now on the right track – and that can only be good for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and the Old Trafford faithful.

Per goal.com, Rueda said: “He’s on the right track. We wanted to reserve him for the next games, but he’s recovered well.”

Sanchez will be hoping his Copa America campaign is a great one and that will set him up for a return to United for what is a big campaign for Solskjaer.
