Henrik Larsson Returns to Manage Former Club Helsingborgs in Sweden

Henrik Larsson won’t be returning to coach Celtic next season after it was revealed he has been appointed the new manager of Swedish side Helsingborgs.

As we told you previously, the Hoops legend had been mentioned as a potential assistant to Neil Lennon at the Scottish Premiership champions next season, as the Northern Irishman aims to win the club’s ninth consecutive title next season.

However, it seems the King of Kings won’t be returning to Celtic Park any time soon, after he pledged at least the next year of his managerial career to Helsingborgs earlier today:

Larsson returns to Helsingborgs after answering an SOS call from the struggling side, who sacked previous boss Per-Ola Ljung after a very underwhelming start to the Allsvenskan campaign.

Given he won’t be moving back to Glasgow this summer, do you think Larsson has made the correct choice in deciding not to follow-up the opportunity to return to Celtic?
